Ready, Set, Grow: Congregational Vitality Workshop

On Saturday, June 7, United Church of Chapel Hill will host a Congregational Vitality Workshop. The workshop will be lead by Kate Huey from our national staff. All of our church leadership is encouraged to go to this event. Cost is $15 per person. The workshop will begin at 9:00am and conclude at 3:00pm.

Sacred Conversations on Race

John Thomas, the President and General Minister of the United Church of Christ , along with other religious leaders has asked that churches across the nation observe May 18 as a day for “Sacred Conversations on Race.”

At 5:00pm on that day a group from Grace will be meeting with Union Chapel UCC to eat a meal and engage in one of these conversations. If you would like to participate please contact the pastor.

Service of Prayer and Healing

At 9:45am on the first Sunday of each month we hold a service of “Prayer and Healing.”  The service on May 4 will be led by Luke Grasty.

Inter-Faith Dialogue on Public Transportation

On May 6 the Board of Christian Mission will co-host along with Elon’s Applied

Anthropology Class an Inter-Faith Dialogue on Alamance County ’s need for more adequate public transportation. The meeting will be held at the Belk Pavilion Room 208.
